A Crystal Ball for Cohocton Officials
How much does anyone want to bet that once the tour de force non-stoppable Cohocton pro-wind governemnt votes in the UPC project (make no mistake they are making law and voting for UPC and with UPC), once these laws are passed and the project is approved, what's the bet on how many officials or town employees will resign due to "stress" and magically, suddenly and surprisingly go to work either full time or part time, or in a consultancy position with UPC?
Who could possibly imagine it? Why is the bet a sure thing? One councilman is getting turbines (Dyckman) and certain signed a lease before running for office. Another councilman (Hunt) writes paid for newspaper articles signed YESWINDCOHOCTON. A planning board member (Walker) is getting turbines either directly or indirectly through his family (mumbo jumbo newspaper ads about protecting innocent parties indeed - pure hog wash). The Judge? (Graham) Turbines. (Towners)? Son works for UPC as the "outreach coordinator". The assessor (Densmore)? He runs the YESWINDCOHOCTON website. Shall we go on?
We now read in the Hornell News how Zigenfus is crying foul about the "anti-wind" group and thinking about abandoning his post. Jack - I'm sure UPC will match your salary! Make sure and get a signing bonus for getting the project in by Q3 2007.
We'd say it's a sure bet.

There again if people want wind mlls on their property they should be aloowed to have them in> Instead of the idol threat of laws suit which won't stand just like the article 75 filed againist Cohocton which was thrown out for lack of evidence. The zoning law would permitted one to build an airstrip on their property I wonder how many idol threats would be made to stop one from doing so.
I will also sign my true name and not hide behind a group name or group of people
